Expanding a Product Line
Our existing customer decided to expand their specialty, underground conduit product line with two new sizes, a 2.5" Diameter and a 9.0" Diameter. Custom Rubber Corp., as their trusted supplier of rubber, water-tight seals, worked with the customer to scale the current product line up for the 9" and down for the 2.5". The rubber gasket has a unique double-hourglass shape that works with the mating plastic conduit to insure a water-tight seal at each joint. The rubber seal works in conjunction with a special locking ring and together allow for a cement-free joint.
