The customer worked with Custom Rubber Corp. to optimize the design of the molded rubber part, which is designed to prevent potting material from leaking out around the diodes that extendd through the inner two holes. The outter holes are used to secure the assembly in place. The interior parting line was also designed to insure it did not interfere with the sealing surface on the inside of the part.
The rubber material chosen for this molded part withstands ambient air temperature of up to 185 degrees Fahrenheit.
