Tight Fitting Cap
After creating the molded rubber insulator for high voltage electrical connections, Custom Rubber Corp. and our customer designed a functional molded rubber cap that fits tightly over the male and female connections when they are not in use. The cap is critical to insure that the large copper connections do not get contaminated or damaged when not in use.
The material chosen for the molded protective caps is non-conductive and durable. The cap includes a thru-hole in the pull tab for a lanyard so that the cap never strays too far from the connector.
