Large Molded Rubber Part
When a leading seismic engineering firm needed a protective cover for a large spring, they turned to Custom Rubber Corp.. The spring is a critical component for seismic measuring equipment installed in the harsh environment of the Southwestern US desert. The molded rubber spring cover had to be rubber to insure that the cover did not interfere with the spring's action and it also had to be durable enough to survive the harsh weather conditions. The molded rubber cover pictured here is roughly four feet (4') long and the opening is 4"x4".

Custom Rubber Corp. also worked closely with the customer to make improvements to the design to insure efficient manfuacturing and performance once installed.
