    Responsiveness to the Rescue
Custom Rubber Corp. got a call from one of our existing customers who in turn had a panic message from their customer.  A molded rubber component that ultimately went to Toyota was not shipping on time and had some quality issues.
In short order, the mold was transferred to Custom Rubber Corp. and modified to fit equipment in our building.  The source for the specialty bolt was identified and the bolts were procured.  Within a very short time, Custom Rubber Corp. had submitted a complete PPAP and after approval began production.

This part is an example of mechanical encapsulation which is the most cost effective method of joining rubber with a metal component.  The metal bolt is placed into the mold and the rubber forms around the metal in such a way that it's impossible to remove the metal without cutting open the molded rubber part.

The rubber parts pictured are not in stock or for sale. These are examples of custom-manufactured products that illustrate Custom Rubber Corp.'s capabilities. Contact us with information on your needs.
