    Bonding Silicone Rubber Isn't Easy
Custom Rubber Corp. has developed a solid expertise when it comes to bonding silicone rubber to aluminum and other substrates.  Silicone rubber does not inherently bond well to anything - there are lots of silicone-based lubricants that illustrate the slippery nature of the base material.

    Trust an Expert
Bonding silicone rubber to a substrate takes very precise preparation and adhesive application on the metal insert.  Custom Rubber Corp. and our supply chain have these steps clearly defined and we have the protocols in place to insure each step is completed the way it's supposed to.

Once the silicone is bonded to the aluminum, Custom Rubber Corp. checks 100% of the parts for strong bond.  In this particular case, the application is a medical instrument handle so top-notch craftsmanship and consistency are required.

The molded rubber parts pictured are not in stock or for sale. These are examples of custom-manufactured products that illustrate Custom Rubber Corp.'s capabilities.
