Rubber Bumper with Threaded Insert

Manufactured with a special rubber blend that resists abrasion and will not mar the contact surface. Our customer supplied the threaded metal insert in 8 different lengths, diameters, and english/metric - Custom Rubber Corp. has one mold that is versatile enough to manufacture all the variations. Custom Rubber Corp. takes care of the insert preparation which includes a phosphate coating and then the application of an engineered adhesive that is activated during the vulcanization or curing of the rubber. The resulting bond strength exceeds the tear strength of the rubber—meaning the two components are inseperable.
