RESPONSIVENESS ~ FROM DESIGN TO DELIVERY™

When designing molded rubber parts we typically break costs down into four steps:

  1. Design - Creating a 3D CAD model of the molded rubber part
  2. Soft Tooling/Prototyping (optional) - Not a critical step, but occasionally recommended in order to ensure proper fit of the part before manufacturing the finished molded rubber part (for more information on prototyping, click here).
  3. Building the Mold - This includes determining how many cavities the mold will have and then cutting steel to build a production mold.
  4. Production - This is the final step where the molded rubber part comes to life. Custom Rubber Corp. manufactures the finished rubber parts through injection molding, compression molding, or transfer molding.
