Prototype Hatch Seal for NASA
When NASA was looking for someone to mold a scaled-down prototype version
of a hatch seal that will be used in the International Space Station, they
found Custom Rubber Corp. After reviewing Custom Rubber Corp.'s capabilities,
NASA added Custom Rubber Corp. to their approved vendor list, and the building
of the tool commenced. (Continued below.)

Custom Rubber Corp. worked with our strategic raw material
partners to develop a low-outgasing Fluorosilicone that met the material specifications.
The first part out of the mold was a perfect mate to the steel ring it was
designed to seal against.
