Rubber Target Carrier for Shooting Range

Custom Rubber Corp. can help solve problems in any industry for any application. In this instance, the customer, a leading supplier of law-enforcement and military training gear, approached Custom Rubber Corp. desiring assistance in developing a sturdy molded rubber and metal wheel for target training systems. After working with the customer to determine the installation and overall assembly of the product, Custom Rubber Corp. recommended the elimination of a costly adhesive for bonding the metal to the rubber and designed a press-fit metal sleeve that fits just tight enough to stay in place during shipment. Once the part is assembled at our customer's location, there is no requirement for the sleeve and the rubber to spin together, nor is there a way for the sleeve to fall out of its molded rubber cover. This innovative solution was a result of the customer allowing Custom Rubber Corp. to do more than just see the part print and design.
