After working with the customer to determine the installation an overall assembly,
Custom Rubber Corp. recommended the elimination of costly adhesive and moved
to a press-fit metal sleeve that fit just tight enough to stay in place during
shipment. After the part is assembled at our customers, there is no requirement
for the sleeve and the rubber to spin together, nor is there a way for the
sleeve to fall out. (Continued below.)

This innovative solution was a result of the customer allowing Custom Rubber
Corp. to do more than just see the part print. The customer helped us understand
the whole assembly and the critical functions of the rubber part. When customers
openly disclose the whole picture, everyone benefits in the end through a more
cost-effective solution.
