Rubber to Metal Product Samples
Rubber Shock Foot with Two Metal Inserts
The picture shows the unique design of this rubber isolator or shock foot
assembly. There are two metal inserts:
- A U-shaped metal bracket that has three attachment points (two at the top
are shown in the photo).
- A steel bushing or sleeve that is held by the rubber around the front end.
(Continued below.)

(ref. #105550, 105645)
The design allows the bracket to be mounted securely to
the frame of the devise while the delicate subassembly is securely fastened
to the steel bushing or sleeve. The rubber in between isolates the subassembly
- multiple rubber parts are used to support the subassembly.
Custom Rubber Corp. took a complicated design with multiple metal inserts
and was able to make the production of the part look easy to our customer.
The material and bonding agent were selected to insure a bond between the rubber
and metal that would exceed the tear strength of the rubber.
The rubber parts pictured are not in stock or for sale. These
are examples of custom-manufactured rubbr to metal products that illustrate Custom Rubber
Corp.'s capabilities. Contact us with information
