Bottling Line Roller

This rubber idler wheel is used on sophisticated bottling-line equipment for both plastic bottles and glass bottles. The metal insert on the ID is bonded to the rubber tire using a special heat-activated adhesive. The bond strength is designed to exceed the tear strength of the rubber, which means that the rubber would tear apart before the bond would fail. This ensures that the rubber idler wheel will not slip because its rotation is precisely controlled. (Continued below.)
