Industrial Plugs
Custom Rubber Corp. manufactures a complete line of industrial rubber plugs
for one of our customers. The plugs range in size from diameters as small as
0.25" up to diameters as large as 14". The rubber plugs are used
in all types of hazardous and aggressive fluids, including solutions such as aircraft fuel, super-heated
oil, and cleaning solvents. Custom Rubber Corp., in conjunction
with our raw material partners, has developed materials to meet the demands

The rubber plug is molded first, with the threaded
brass compression bolt and the metal washers being added only after the mold is completed. The plug body is designed to expand as the bolt is tightened, which ensures that no fluid will leak around the plug.
