Custom Designed Cookware Handles
The rubber handles pictured below were custom designed for a leading manufacturer of high-end cookware. They turned to Custom Rubber Corp. for assistance with the creation and production of rubber grips for their
complete line of cooking supplies, from standard to specialized products.

Above are a few samples from the final products. The rubber handle for a distinctive teapot was created by using a heat-activated adhesive to bond the rubber to a polished metal stem during vulcanization. A wok's similar handle is also visible. In addition to bonding the rubber handle to the metal bar, Custom Rubber Corp. increased the bond by incorpoarting mechanical locks into the structure. Pictured without their corresponding cookware are two small tea pot top handles, one round and
one with the manufacturer's logo. In each case, the rubber handle was bonded to a small female threaded brass
insert that is later bolted to the lid of the tea pot.
Finally, there is pictured a stand-alone silicone rubber handle grip that was designed to fit
over the metal handles of the product line's standard pots.
Two sizes of the silicone rubber handle were molded before being packaged on a backer board using a stretch film. Custom Rubber Corp. then boxed 10 handles
to a small carton and placed multiple small cartons inside the master pack.
