Custom Molded Rubber Hinge Cover with PSA

Custom Rubber Corp. has the capability to apply PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) to rubber products no matter what their shapes, sizes, or configurations. Whether the rubber part is die-cut, extruded, or molded, Custom Rubber Corp. has the ability to apply a sturdy PSA to the part's surface.

Pictured below is a molded rubber hinge cover, with an attached pressure sensitive adhesive. Since the part is used on the back door of an automobile, quality adhesion was critical in guaranteeing the success of this molded rubber hinge cover. (Continued below.)

The molded rubber hinge cover is engineered to act as a spacer between the glass and the spoiler on the rear deck of a car. Both sides of the rubber hinge cover's flange act as a sealing surface, with PSA applied to one side of the molded rubber part. Custom Rubber Corp. drew upon their rubber molding expertise to select the right combination of pressure sensitive adhesive and non-blooming rubber to ensure secure adhesion of the PSA to the rubber. The final molded rubber hinge cover, applied with PSA, exactly fulfilled the customer's specifications.
