Molded Rubber Unscrewing Bag

This molded rubber part is used in an aftermarket rail transportation application for material handling. Custom Rubber Corp. supplied the customer with molded rubber parts with similar requirements in the past. When the customer needed to find a supplier capable of molding this rubber part for an unscrewing bag, they once again relied on Custom Rubber Corp.'s rubber molding expertise. (Continued below.)

The design of this molded rubber part is crucial to providing an effective seal for the customer's application. The top, bottom, and inside of the rubber part act as a sealing surface in the assembly. Due to the dynamic requirements of the molded rubber part, the customer relied on Custom Rubber Corp.'s rubber engineering and rubber molding expertise to recommend a suitable material. Custom Rubber Corp. was able to find a rubber material that had the necessary rebound, as well as abrasion and tear resistance. Custom Rubber Corp.'s rubber molding experience also ensured that the rubber parts were molded with a consistent durometer.
