Molded Rubber Diaphragm

An existing customer that manufactures electro-thermal actuators contacted Custom Rubber Corp. for help with an existing rubber diaphragm. Pictured below is a small rubber diaphragm used as a seal in one of the customer's actuators. (Continued below.)

The existing tooling the customer used when molding this rubber part was over 25 years old. Due to wear and tear, the customer was having trouble molding quality rubber parts with the existing mold. Once again, the customer relied on Custom Rubber Corp.'s rubber engineering and rubber molding expertise to find a solution. Custom Rubber Corp. was able to build a new mold capable of molding all of the crucial configuration requirements of the rubber diaphragm's design. Thanks to Custom Rubber Corp.'s rubber engineering and rubber design expertise, the new rubber diaphragms were free of mold imperfections, providing an effective seal and preventing leakage through the rubber diaphragm's walls.
