Rubber Pushbutton Grommet

This rubber grommet was molded to protect the pushbutton of our customer's actuators. The rubber pushbutton grommet seals the space in the actuator where the pushbutton is located, protecting the equipment from dust and splashing water. (Continued below.)

Custom Rubber Corp. ensured that these molded rubber pushbutton grommets met the specifications necessary for the customer's application. To mold the rubber pushbutton grommets, Custom Rubber Corp. used a rubber compound that allows them to withstand a wide range of temperatures, from -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The design allows the rubber pushbutton grommet to fit firmly in place and ensures that it will not move out of place during repeated use. The middle of the of the rubber grommet, shaped perfectly to provide contact with the pushbutton, is flexible enough to be pressed without shifting the outer grommet out of place.
