Display Case Rubber Seal
Custom Rubber Corp. worked with our customer to successfully design and manufacture
a truly one-of-a-kind rubber solution. The seal shown here was recently installed
in the display cases for the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution,
and other documents from the founding of our country - in Washington, D.C.

The project required both molded and extruded rubber seals,
with identical cross-sections, that were then precisely assembled by Custom
Rubber Corp. using a specialty adhesive. The rubber material that was used
was first tested and trialled to confirm it would not release any gases once
it was installed that might adversely effect the documents.
