Excess Demand Leads to Custom Rubber Corp.
Once Custom Rubber Corp. was approved and successfully producing two small
sized seals for a molder of specialty rubber pipe seals, the customer asked
for assistance in production of a third larger size. The demand for their product
was outstripping their capacity to mold the rubber pipe seals. (Continued below.)

Custom Rubber Corp. was able to receive in the mold and
modify the tools in less than two days to fit our equipment. After the modification,
Custom Rubber Corp. was able to start producing within four days of receiving
the tools.
The photo shows a white film on the part which has been designed
into the rubber formulation as a self-lubricating film that leaches to the
surface. This lubrication significantly reduces installation time in the field.
