Molded Rubber Exhaust Seal Assembly

A high temperature glass-filled nylon insert acts as the base structure for this exhaust seal. A special adhesive, specifically engineered for the EPDM material, is painted over the surface of the insert to ensure the nylon bonds correctly to its rubber cover. (Continued below.)

As shown in the photo, the rubber itself coats the entire surface of the nylon insert, including the raised nubs, while still guaranteeing easy assembly by leaving the bolt holes free of material. The rubber is also specially formulated for durability to ensure a long life in the aggressive environment near the exhaust system.
