Molded Rubber Eye Shield for Government

When a military contractor needed to provide the government with additional supplies of replacement rubber eye shields, they found that their original supplier was no longer in business. They turned to Custom Rubber Corp., who was able to fulfill the government's requirements while also offering the contractor quick turn-around on the tooling and delivery. (Continued below.)

However, the blueprint for the part was so out of date that it needed to be redone before any of the eye shields could be manufactured. In a joint effort with our raw material partner, Custom Rubber Corp. successfully updated the old material specifications to create an improved, modern equivalent that continued to comply with government standards. After the conversion was complete, the Custom Rubber Corp. submitted, along with the first article inspection, a complete cross-referenced document that detailed the modernization of the old specification into the new version of the product.
