Rapid Seal for BPL Application

Our BPL partner required a rapid solution to a system problem. Custom Rubber Corp. responded to their need, providing a one cavity tool in less than two weeks and manufacturing the product from a specialty hypalon rubber compound that met the sealing requirements. (Continued below.)

While the mold was being constructed, Custom Rubber Corp. engineered a variety of potentially usable materials and ultimately submitted over 10 different sample materials in order to find the one that had just the right characteristics and response to the electrically charged environment.
