Custom Rubber Corp. is widely known for our expertise in designing,
compounding, creating molds and manufacturing protective covers and boots.
These covers need to be precisely shaped to provide shock absorption
and chemical resistance to electronic components, and yet be easy to
use in the manufacturing and installation of the end product.
Other electronics
applications for our parts also include anti-fog, tight-tolerance seals
for gages and instruments. Many of these seals are used to mate plastic
housing with clear cover and seal components for protection from the
environment.
Custom Rubber is an expert in developing specialty rubbers
for all types of rigorous environments and specialty protection and
sealing applications.

Electrical system failure eliminated with custom boot
The maker of electrical distribution systems for trolleys called on Custom
Rubber Corp. when the convoluted boots covering their components was failing.
We developed a new custom non-conductive material for them that adds durability
and life to the boots and the components they protect.
Non-marking black rubber boot requires innovative material development
For a hand held electronic device, the manufacturer required a complex protective
rubber bootnon-marking black rubber, of course. They called on Custom
Rubber Corp. to validate their innovative rubber holster design and develop
a non-marking black rubber material without carbon black that had the tensile
strength to withstand molding and everyday use.
