Door Seal for Vacuum Truck

This profile is an off-shoot of a standard rubber d-shaped seal. It includes a small ID to give added compressibility to the seal so that the door is not too difficult to close. It also has small fins of rubber (two on each side) that Custom Rubber Corp. added after prototyping to address some unexpected irregularities between the two mating surfaces. The resulting seal is air tight allowing for maximum efficiency—concentrating all the vacuum force where it should be, not the access door. (Continued below.)
