Original Broadband Over Power Lines
The creation of our original product for broadband over power lines (BPL) involved making
a rubber lining to absorb the differing expansion and contraction rates of
the magnetic material and the insulating covering. The specially formulated
rubber compound does not interfere with the electronic workings of the unit,
but has enough thickness and cushion to absorb the changing gap distance between
the components when the weather changes. (Continued below.)

The development of the material was done quickly with the
help of a few of Custom Rubber Corp.'s strategic partners to identify the right
level of conductivity and compression/expansion. Since this first product,
Custom Rubber Corp. has continued to assist in later versions of the BPL solution.
