Seal for Tube and Pipe Manufacturing Equipment
Our customer insisted on a visible, distinct red color for these rubber seals
- so that it would be very apparent if the rubber seals were installed correctly.
Originally, a standard EPDM material was color-matched. The color was perfect,
but the parts were degrading at a rapid pace. (Continued below.)

After some brief conversations with the customer, it was
determined that the rubber seal was under intense heat and that the EPDM just
wasn't up to the task.
Consequently, Custom Rubber Corp. turned to another one
of its strategic raw material partners, this time for a silicone rubber in
that same distinct red color. After trialling the silicone version, the pipe
equipment company had a robust solution that solved a problem.
