Automotive Bumper - Mold Upgrade

When an automotive supplier turned to Custom Rubber Corp. for assistance with capacity, Custom Rubber stepped to the plate. After agreeing to run a very large 38"x38" mold, Custom Rubber Corp. not only kept up with production demand, but was able to use its rubber engineering experience to build a new smaller injection mold at the same time. Once the injection mold was completed, Custom Rubber Corp. was able to offer a price reduction to the company thanks to the increased productivity of the injection mold. The new mold also enabled the manufacturing of better quality parts with less flash and a lower defect rate.
