Hood Leveler

This rubber bumper utilizes a custom bolt with a star-shaped head that is mechanically encapsulated in the rubber bumper head. This eliminates the need for adhesive, which reduces overall cost; no painting costs and the inserts are easily reclaimed if there is a molding problem. (Continued below.)

The material for this product is critical; it cannot stain the metal it's bumping against and cannot bloom or change color from the original black. Custom Rubber Corp. trialed a number of different rubber materials and worked with a number of our strategic partners to determine what ingredients in the rubber would cause discoloration—and those ingredients were eliminated.
