Molded Rubber Hinge Cover with Sealing PSA

Pictured below is a molded rubber hinge cover that has a pressure sensitive adhesive attached to it. A dependable adhesive was critical in the implementation of this molded rubber hinge cover since it was designed to be used on the back door of an automobile. (Continued below.)

The role of the molded rubber hinge cover is to act as a spacer between the spoiler and the glass on a car's rear deck. Both sides of the rubber hinge cover's flange serve as a sealing surface, with the PSA applied to one side of the molded rubber part. Custom Rubber Corp. utilized their rubber molding expertise to determine the ideal combination of pressure sensitive adhesive and non-blooming rubber to guarantee that the PSA would adhere securely to the rubber. The final molded rubber hinge cover, applied with PSA, fit the customer's application perfectly.
