Custom Molded Rubber End Cap Grommet

Pictured below is a rubber end cap that was requested by a customer for use in the HVAC industry. The customer needed the molded rubber parts in a hurry without having the production speed undermine the good ozone and weathering properties, which are needed in order to withstand the harsh conditions of a geothermal HVAC system. The purpose of this molded rubber part is to act as a grommet in a geothermal HVAC system, so the rubber cap needed to have two important features. First, it needed to have a good balance of rubber flexibility and stiffness to allow a snug fit when being installed in the system. Second, it also needed to be molded from a durable rubber compound that could last in the conditions of the geothermal HVAC system. Calling upon its extensive knowledge developed through years of experience in molding quality rubber parts and designing rubber solutions, Custom Rubber Corp. was able to easily determine a suitable material for the application.
