Critical Rubber Disk
Custom Rubber Corp. worked with a leading wastewater aeration systems company to develop a 12" diameter aeration disk. Custom Rubber Corp. molded the rubber disk and our customer uses a proprietary method to pierce small slits throughout the disk. Once installed on the customer's aeration system of pipes, air is forced through the pipes and it exits the molded rubber disk creating very small bubbles. The bubbles insure that the treatment pond stays well aerated so that the "bugs" can do their work effectively in cleaning the water.
This is the largest such disk Custom Rubber Corp. has made and depending on the waste stream, the parts are made with a large variety of rubber material formulations, each designed to maximize life in the given waste pond.
