Durometer Is The Key
The parts pictured here are used in the suspension system and the hardness of the part is the critical feature. If the durometer is too soft or too hard, the suspension system does not work and ends up with an unacceptable rattle. Custom Rubber Corp. was brought into this project after the existing over-seas supplier had one too many containers of bad product. The material selection took a few trials, but one the formula was established, every part Custom Rubber Corp. delivers is within specification.
