Custom Rubber Corp. worked with a Tier2 Automotive supplier to prototype a few different versions of a rubber convoluted tube designed to protect a wire harness from the A-Pillar to the door of a car. The different designs show illustrate the combination of a grommet feature on the larger diameter end to hold it in place on the A-Piller, and a smaller end that is secured to the door. The part shown with two exit holes on the large diameter end was designed to let air into the space between the A-Pillar metal plates.
